About Us

Jim has been in the residential construction business for more than 30 years. He began his career building homes in the beautiful St. Alban’s Development in Franklin County, Missouri and then opened the doors of Tegethoff Homes in 2006. He is responsible for all the daily operations of the company. He has continued to build an outstanding business reputation in the St. Louis community and is a well-respected and trusted builder for many happy St. Louis families.

Kristin has worked with Jim since the beginning of Tegethoff Homes. She works mostly behind the scenes doing bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, and marketing for Tegethoff Homes & Carpentry and for Patriot Masonry, the company’s masonry business.

Matthew joined Tegethoff Homes in 2018 and is an invaluable asset to the company and its clients. Matthew is in the field on all construction projects, coordinates scheduling with subcontractors, inspectors and municipalities, works with homeowners on a daily basis and manages the employees of Tegethoff Carpentry. Matthew has more than 20 years’ homebuilding experience, having worked for several other companies in St. Louis and throughout Missouri.

Jimmy is the newest addition to the Tegethoff Homes team. He joined the company in 2022 after working as an estimator for a local commercial construction company. Jimmy is involved in many aspects of the business including estimating, project management, sales and marketing.
